YouTube

YouTube is a video-sharing platform launched in February 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. It allows users to upload, view, and share videos. Acquired by Google in November 2006 for $1.65 billion, YouTube has grown into a massive global platform, hosting a diverse range of content including music videos, tutorials, vlogs, and more. It introduced monetization for creators through the YouTube Partner Program, enabling ads on videos. Over the years, YouTube has expanded features such as live streaming, YouTube Premium, and YouTube Originals, becoming a central hub for digital entertainment and information.
